The oak base has a really solid, weighty feel to it, so it doesn’t slide around when my dog eats. It’s also a handsome piece that doesn’t look out of place next to our dining table. My dog took to it right away, and I appreciate that the rounded edges are easy to wipe clean after every meal.
The rounded edges make it feel so much more refined than the standard ceramic bowls my old dog used, and the oak base has held up perfectly even with daily water spills. Cleo actually seems to prefer eating from it now, which I didn't expect from a bowl upgrade.
